VEX Robotics Competition: Gateway
Gateway is a competition between two alliance teams of two robots each. The object of the game is to score barrels and balls in the goals, and earn more points than the opponent. The doubler barrel and negation barrel will double or negate the point value of the goal respectively.
The game is played on a 12′x12′ field, and is partitioned into three sections. Teams can raise their gates during the match.
