We will be holding a meeting from STI optronics starting from 9:00am to about noon and from then there will be a practice session for the drivers from noon to about 4 to 5pm in Seattle. If you are at STI at the time, you will get a ride to Seattle. However if you come only for the driving session you will need your own ride.

The practice field is:
900 poplar place south Seattle, WA

Every mechanical part of the robot works!!!
However, there are many things that need to be tested, the ramp needs to be built, bumpers need to be built, and drivers need to practice.
Please come to the meeting Friday Feb 19 from 1pm to 9pm at STI Optronics. It’s long, but coming for even half the time would be very helpful since the robot shipping date is very close.

Everyone who is going to the FIRST Robotics Comeptition must have an account in the Student Team Members & Parents/Legal Guardians Information System.

Those who do not have an account and be registered will not be allowed to go to the FIRST Robotics Competition.

The robot works!…mostly!
We just need to make some adjustments, but we mainly need more people to help out!

If you haven’t been coming to STI meetings, we expect you to come at least to the meeting tomorrow, from 9am to 3pm At School

The meeting Schedule is:
Thursday: 9:00am to 3:00pm At School and 7pm to 10:00pm at STI
Friday:If the robot is drivable, 1-5pm meeting at practice field. If not done, at STI
Saturday: 4-9pm at practice field

Updates on for Friday and Saturday will be sent out ASAP

We will be meeting:

Tuesday: 6pm to 9pm at STI Optronics

Wednesday: 6pm to 9pm at STI Optronics

Thursday: 9am-3pm At School 6pm to 9pm at STI Optronics

Friday: 6pm to 9pm at STI Optronics

On Thursday graphics and build kids should come to help out to work on the crate and making other parts.

Thank you to everyone today for working so hard! We worked a total of 10 hours! Yikes! We’re almost done with the robot! We still need as much help as possible so make  someone to drive you to the meetings if you haven’t been coming!

We will be picking drivers, so if you want to drive make sure you come to all the meetings!

We really need EVERYONE’s help during weekends meetings so make sure you come, especially if you have never gone!

If you’re in Build (VEX kids you are in build) it is MANDATORY that you be there. Unless you have some other obligation we need you to come.

You will get the most hands-on experience and have the most fun at weekend meetings too =]

Congrats to the VEX Team for their completion of the robot! We will be doing a quick demonstration of the robot next Wednesday.

Earlier today, there were many errors with our HTML coding and it produced all tons of errors on the w3 validator. But now, after editing many lines of code and removing unneccessary clutter, the website is now compliant (at least the front page is).

Hopefully, we will keep it this way since our web team highly values web standards.

Hey guys,

We will have meetings at STI Optronics on saturday from 4-9PM and sunday from 1-5PM.

If you are in the following list, you have told me that you were probably going to make it on these dates. It is important that you do your best to make it. If you are not on the list, please still try to make it.

Please bring $3-5 if you plan on eating there. We will most likely be eating on saturday, and not sunday. Please bring some snacks for everyone’s enjoyment! :)
