Hello there!
Our pasta dinner is this Friday, November 4, at 6 PM in the Interlake Commons. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we need everyone to pitch in for this to be successful, so please invite friends and family! The pasta is provided by Maggiano’s Little Italy. There are a wide variety of silent auction items, ranging from delicious desserts to Kinect games and gift cards, so please remember to bring a checkbook to bid! Pricing is as follows:
Prepaid tickets:
At the door:
Tickets (or admission at the door) are good for one plate of pasta, and drinks are free. For those purchasing presale tickets, please get the money as soon as possible to Anna Kimura. Prepaid tickets will not be considered valid unless they have been paid for beforehand! All checks should be made payable to Interlake High School, with Saints Robotics in the memo line.
Thanks!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone has had an excellent year so far.
There is an important informational meeting for new and returning parents on Wednesday, October 26 from 5:30-6:00 PM. We encourage all parents to come and learn about Interlake Saints Robotics and what we will be working on during the 2011-2012 season. The meeting will be in Mr. Cooney’s room 1808, and we will discuss the nuts and bolts of Saints Robotics, describe the college scholarships available through the robotics program, and what parents can do to help.
Furthermore, one of our upcoming events is our annual Pasta Dinner and Silent Auction on Friday, November 4 at 6 PM. The Pasta Dinner and Silent Auction is the largest fundraiser the team organizes and is a great opportunity for families and friends to meet the team and learn more about robotics. The pasta is completely catered by Maggiano’s, and the auction consists of items donated by local companies, including a dessert auction towards the end. We are also looking for donations from parents or friends. All donations $100 or above will qualify your company as a Bronze-level sponsor, and donations may be tax-deductible. Team members are always encouraged to volunteer for this event and will receive community service hours for their time. All family and friends are invited to the dinner, and we will begin to sell pre-sale tickets next week.
Important upcoming dates:
Thanks, everyone, and have a nice day!
Hello, Saints Robotics! As you all know, school is starting soon—on September 6.
On August 31 (a.k.a. tomorrow), Interlake is hosting a club fair, to point out the clubs of Interlake, from 8 AM to 3 PM in the Interlake Commons. We will be demoing our robot there. If you have some spare time in the morning, drop by at around 7:30 AM to help set up the robot; otherwise, come when you are convenient.
Hope to see all of you tomorrow!
Just a note, all of the meetings over the summer will be located at StudentRND. You should be receiving emails about additional meeting dates and times, in addition to our usual meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 PM to 4 PM.
If you do not know StudentRND’s address, here it is:
1405 132nd Ave NE Suite 3
Bellevue, WA 98005
Hello everyone,
This is just a reminder that we have a meeting tomorrow, Saturday July 9 from 1 PM to 4 PM at StudentRND. Parts have arrived there will be a lot to be done.
Agenda:
Just a note: coming to summer meetings is a great opportunity to get some better hands on experience with the robot. Because the parts are here, there will be a lot to do, and not a lot of people to do it.
