We will be finishing the robot and testing it on Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM at the STI lab. This is the final build weekend until NEXT YEAR, so try to make it. Bring $5 for lunch and snacks.

“Wednesday Meeting” on Friday
Finals are done! (in the future). We can now focus on what is just as important, even more maybe. The main Wednesday meeting will take place on Friday starting at about 1:00 PM, probably closer to 1:10 PM.
Build Meeting – Sunday
Same place, the STI lab. We will be finishing completing the robot and hopefully getting our “artsy” people to make it look AWESOME. Then, it’s crash time and we can start testing it for errors and faults. It won’t be pretty but it’s the most important part of the build season: testing.
Food at Meetings Update
Hi guys,
Right now, no family is signed up to bring food this coming Wednesday. I personnally find that having someone bring food every once in a while is a great plus for our meetings. If you are able to bring food this coming Wednesday, please send me an email right away. It really does not take that much, just bring in a couple bags of chips and some drinks too. Cash is great also, and i will keep it for food money (right now we only have two dollars left in the food money account :-( . So could you please send me an email ASAP? Email address for those of you who don’t have it is Olivierf14@hotmail.com
Thanks for your contributions to the club!

Shipping Day – End of Build Season
This is it. The end is near. On this day, we have to have the robot crated and it will be shipped to its destination. We have precious little time left and we want at least one or two weeks to test drive the robot. This is the most important part because we get to find where all of the mistakes are and where we screwed up. But this is the day that the robot MUST be finished by.
Sunday Build Meeting – Workshop
We will be meeting at Mr. Kimura’s workshop from 10AM to 4PM on Sunday. I know that we all have finals, but we should all try to come for at least some time. We have work to do, and a lot of it. Same address as before.
Meeting Reminder – Sunday and Monday
Hey everybody,
This is a reminder that we are meeting TOMORROW and on MONDAY to work on the robot and start putting all of it together. You should all have know about this, but this is just a reminder to all of you. We will be meeting on Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Monday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
I understand that this is a very long time, but you do not of course need to stay for the whole time, although we would prefer if you did. Compared to other more advanced, older teams, we are not very far and we need to get some work done on this robot. This will be a very fun experience and we recommend you try to come in for a couple hours at LEAST once this week if you don’t have anything else to do.
The address of the meeting place is still the same:
STI Optronics, Inc.
2755 Northup Way Bellevue, WA 98004-1495
We hope to see you there bright and early! We have a lot of work to do! But it will be really fun.
Robotics Update
Hi guys!
Sadly, we did not have a meeting the week last week or this week because of the stupid snow! However, we got a longer break at the expense of spring break (YAAAAAY, not). Anyways, about Robotics again…
You guys should already know about the kick-off that is happening on Janurary 3rd. This is the most exciting part of the year apart from the competition itself, and it is where the game will be uncovered in front of more than 100,000 other students like you and me. Starting on that day, we will have around 6 weeks to build the robot, which is not a lot of time. The kick-off is being held at Interlake High School, which means that it will be really close to us and you wont have to
travel for three hours like some people will have to to get here. Because we are hosting the kick-off this year, we will need to organize everything. The officers have been working on that very hard, but we will need volunteers on Friday January 2nd to help set up chairs in the gym so we can seat everybody on Saturday. So, on January 2nd, come to Interlake from 5PM to 9PM to help us set up for this huge event. On Saturday January 3rd, i recommend you come around 6 AM at Interlake High School (no I am not crazy, for I will be there at 5 AM) so you can be there to welcome other people from other teams and do any last minute preparations. The presentation, broadcasted from the east coast, will start at 7 AM and will last until probably around 10:00 AM, maybe 10:30. After that, we will have breakout sessions where we will discuss this year’s game and the possible robots that we might build.
Because this is such a huge event and we need you to be here, it is now MANDATORY for you to come on Saturday. Unless you are not in the state, you have no reason NOT to come. This is really the beginning of one of the most fun periods in high school and you have to be there to find about the game, see 1200 other FRC students, and have a really fun time. Don’t come telling me you have homework cause you have had WAY too much time to finish your homework due last Wednesday and Thursday…
Anyways, remember to come to the kick-off because it is going to be huge. If you can, drop by on Friday to help.
Thanks!
P.S. Wear school colors at the event, since our team t-shirt is not here yet. Send me an email anyways if you cant come.

Meeting Tuesday Nov. 18
We will be meeting on Tuesday November 18th, to talk about and go over the Workshop, share information etc. We will also begin to meet more frequently as the season slowly begins and we are quickly approaching the build season. We will start the meeting quickly after tutorial ends, so 3:05.
