For those who didn’t know, FRC Seattle Regional competition is from March 25-27th (Thursday-Saturday). Your precense at the competition will benefit the club and you will gain valuable experience, as well as have tons of fun!
Make sure you can come to Wednesday meetings so you can receive important information about the competition. During the three-day, super-intense competition, you will see everyone’s hard work pay off and experience the real FIRST atmosphere. It’s truely amazing. You also get to miss school!
Although we don’t have a meeting tomorrow and build season is over, we have A LOT of preparation to do.
Make sure you come to Wednesday, Friday, and weekend meetings. We NEED everyone to keep working hard.
Also, make sure you go support the VEX team at Redmond High School from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
EDIT: The Washington VEX Championships is on the 27th (two days from today), in case it was unclear.
We learned about a lot of problems with our robot this weekend. Tomorrow (Monday) will be the final meeting to work on the robot before it ships. We need EVERYONEto help out! The meeting will be at STI Optronics from 6-10pm.
Also if you are in graphics there is a meeting after school to paint the bumpers.
This is the last day for us to get anything really done at all.
If you aren’t a driver we need you to come to STI Optronics from 10:00am to 4pm to help out fixing the robot.
If you are a driver, it is extremely important that you come to the driver practice meeting at the practice field in Seattle from 4pm to around 9 pm.
You can either get a ride from STI or go directly at 900 poplar place south Seattle, WA
We will be holding a meeting from STI optronics starting from 9:00am to about noon and from then there will be a practice session for the drivers from noon to about 4 to 5pm in Seattle. If you are at STI at the time, you will get a ride to Seattle. However if you come only for the driving session you will need your own ride.
The practice field is:
900 poplar place south Seattle, WA
Every mechanical part of the robot works!!!
However, there are many things that need to be tested, the ramp needs to be built, bumpers need to be built, and drivers need to practice.
Please come to the meeting Friday Feb 19 from 1pm to 9pm at STI Optronics. It’s long, but coming for even half the time would be very helpful since the robot shipping date is very close.
The robot works!…mostly!
We just need to make some adjustments, but we mainly need more people to help out!
If you haven’t been coming to STI meetings, we expect you to come at least to the meeting tomorrow, from 9am to 3pm At School
The meeting Schedule is:
