As you can probably tell, I’m reworking the style-sheet for the site. Right now I’m mainly bringing the color scheme in line with our new logo etc. I will be getting much more in-depth over the next week or so. I’m using the Web Style Guide as direction for the redesign. Comments?

is there a way to make the logo lines stretch to the end of the page?

Sweet moving logo. Make the *entire* flash have a transparent “home” button that plays the shine animation. If the flames could be animated, that would be so awesome. Might want to look into making it larger (in the HTML), too, because the fine lines make it look a little busy.
Also, some of the content is two years old now and should probably be updated…
You’re probably right. I don’t want it to dominate the page but it could be bigger. I may just thicken the lines; we’ll see. Moving fire is … hard. I could probably do it but the trick is making it, y’know, not horrible.

(when I was making the logo last year, black and yellow looked REALLY intense but sadly we couldn’t use it;and just fyi….it didn’t look like a bee o_o)
I could probably point out that the teams that win Best Web Site Evar do not necessarily follow style guides. If you can do it well enough, a flash-heavy site can be great. Otherwise… well, teams with ANIMATED GIFS LOL took the prize in past years, but they had a lot of content.
