Of Great Success

So we got both robots to move today!

Kevin

But there is little time for rejoicing. We must now:

  • Take the chassis apart.
  • Cut the chassis to make the robot fit into the box.
  • Shift the gear boxes towards the back two wheels.
  • Compact the electronics system.
  • Create a final design for the ball-handling
  • Re-construct.
  • Program for tank drive and arcade drive.
  • DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE

As you can see, we have quite the work cut out for us. That’s why we’re going to meet again in Mr. Kumura’s workplace this Sunday and Monday (MLK day). The schedule is as follows:

Sunday: from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Monday: from 8:00 AM to 5:00/6:00 PM

I’ll actually be there this time, so I’ll see you guys there!

  1. Awesome. I think we should actually tone down the meeting times because most people will not have time to make everything, so it’s great that we meet but we should not meet so much. Probably keep it down to a bare max of (oh no, 6 hours)

otherwise ppl lose interest, dont care, go away and we’re back with the same regular officers again

so limit it a bit… if you think that it is wise

  2. You don’t need to be there the whole time. This is like a store. they can come and shop until they get bored and leave. But we’ll still be open for a very long time.

  3. Olivier, on the risk of sounding like Jeff, I am telling you that you guys probably don’t meet enough. You should be meeting at least four hours every day and for as long as possible on weekends.

Also, officers are the backbone, and should be there the entire time. This is why they are officers.

Furthermore, I eagerly anticipate the posting of those videos. Oh yes, very eagerly…

aleksey> it might be kinda hard to meet four hours a day just because we can’t just have Mr. Cooney stay that long and if we can’t be in the room, theres really nothing we can do…
